Biggest Show on Earth

Print 🖨

Across the heavens overhead
A canopy of blue is spread.
The pointed pines this ceiling dent
Like posts support a giant tent.
Beneath this big top of the skies
A southward troop of feathers flies.
The net is set. The people cheer.
It is the happy time of year …
When Beauty barks from hills and towns
And trees dress up like circus clowns.
