Love

Print 🖨

Love is a nod from across the room.
Love is a knowing wink.
Love is a laugh from the heart’s full bloom.
Love is a pause to think
Selflessly, wholly, of what it shares.
Threaded by man and wife,
Quietly weaving ’til unawares
Love is the whole of life.

Love is an arm to support an arm.
Love wipes away a tear.
Love speaks of love with a special charm.
Love is a list’ning ear.
Love is the squeeze of a gentle hand,
Saying what words can’t say.
Knowing such love makes one understand
God in a wiser way.

1 John 4:8 — God is love
